Vancouver Hosts Volunteer Flora and Fauna Fridays
Staff Report / Vancouverlocal.org
The City of Vancouver is hosting a volunteer event series called Flora and Fauna Fridays. The first event will take place on Friday, November 1, at the Grandmother Camus Statue, located at Fourth Plain and Saint Johns Blvd. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Flora and Fauna Fridays offer participants a chance to contribute to a sustainable environment while learning about the local ecosystem. Each free session will include hands-on activities aimed at supporting natural systems, along with snacks and opportunities to connect with fellow volunteers. Participants will also gain insights into the significance of their projects.
The events will run from October to mid-December, and everyone is invited to join for one or multiple sessions. Interested individuals can register for the event at the City of Vancouver’s website.
