Vancouver Proposes $95.3 Million Water Infrastructure Budget

The Vancouver, Washington City Council has proposed a capital budget for water infrastructure totaling $95.3 million. Key allocations within the budget include:
- $52.2 million for the redevelopment of the Operations Center
- $10 million for a treatment system at Water Station 14 to address polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)
- $5.4 million for the replacement of Ellsworth Well 1
- $3.9 million allocated for the Burton Road Transmission Main (T-34) project
- $2.7 million for improvements at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe 4th Plain Crossing (T-3)
- $2.5 million for the Water Station 3 Reservoir, Tower, and Booster upgrades
- $2.4 million for the transmission main project from 99 St to 152 Ave and Padden to Ward Rd (T-33)
- $2 million designated for the Heights District Redevelopment project
