**City of Vancouver Encourages Support for Emergency Winter Shelter Efforts on Winter Solstice**

As the winter solstice marks the longest night of the year, the City of Vancouver, Washington, is calling on the community to make a difference during this chilly season. Through an announcement shared by the city, residents are encouraged to support emergency winter shelter efforts aimed at helping the unhoused population.

The city has provided resources to get involved through a dedicated webpage at www.cityofvancouver.us/wintershelter. This initiative seeks to provide warm, safe spaces for those in need during the harsh winter months.

The City of Vancouver wished everyone a Happy Solstice while emphasizing the importance of looking out for one another during this time. Community members are invited to explore ways to contribute and help brighten the days for vulnerable neighbors.
