Governor Mike DeWine has announced a new driver training initiative in Clark County aimed at assisting new drivers, especially within the local Haitian community, in developing essential driving skills. This initiative comes as part of the state’s efforts to enhance road safety.

Additionally, the Ohio Emergency Management Agency is marking the occasion of Older Driver Safety Awareness Week from December 2 to December 6. The week is dedicated to promoting safe driving practices among older adults. The agency is also celebrating its 30 years of excellence in emergency management, highlighting its commitment to innovation, partnership, and growth at the State Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
