"Join Us for 'Machuca' Film Screening"

The Lake Theater and Cafe, in partnership with the Lake Oswego Public Library, will host a screening of the film "Machuca" on Tuesday, November 26th at 5:30 PM. The film, directed by Andres Wood, will be shown in Spanish with English subtitles.

This screening is part of the World Cinema Series, which highlights a range of international films. Audience members are invited to engage in discussions after the screening to explore various cultures and cinematic styles.

"Machuca" has been recognized at several prestigious events, including the Academy Awards and various film festivals such as Cannes, Havana, Lima, Vancouver International, and Valdivia.

The event will take place at the Lake Theater and Cafe located in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
