Hudson's Bay Teacher Named 2024 Learn Here Hero

Eric Saueracker, a teacher at Hudson's Bay High School in Vancouver, Washington, has been named the 2024 Learn Here Hero by Identity Clark County. Saueracker has taught for 18 years and has made a significant impact in various subjects, including math, science, and STEM/engineering. He is also the founder of the Construction Trades Program of Choice, aimed at helping students start careers in skilled trades.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Saueracker serves as a SkillsUSA advisor, where he supports students in local and national competitions. He also leads the Knowledge Bowl and volunteers at sporting events, helping to develop leadership skills among his students. His contributions to education and dedication to student opportunities have been recognized and celebrated.
